The Mobius Ring

Infinite-a perfect symbol of never-ending love

A Mobius Ring is a single piece of metal twisted to represent an infinty sign that sits gently on your finger to always remind you of the love you share. It is the manifestation of love's infinite quality that has no beginning and no end. You can start at any point on the ring and trace the entire length of metal in one motion, continuously. In this way it symbolizes eternal love and shows your commitment of "forever" to the world. Two become one in this never-ending wedding band.

About Me

I love making jewelry; designing, carefully crafting and meticulously finishing jewelry is how I create each beautiful piece to last for a lifetime of enjoyment.

I started making jewelry in 1968 in Cambridge, MA. I learned production techniques at Designers 3, a boutique in Harvard Square run by Allen Keuney. My early training was a paid position—I was given a living wage ($2/hr. start!) to learn my trade. After a year and a half I came to California with another goldsmith to strike out on our own. We began our workshop known as Robertson/Clarkson in May, 1969. Colin Robertson taught me a great deal about jewelry making; about style, design and craftsmanship. We split our partnership in 1970 and I stayed on as The Marshall Jeweler, a business that continued on a small but successful scale until I moved operations to Point Reyes Station in 1992.

Today, Point Reyes Jewelers is a thriving small business that attracts customers from all over the Bay Area. While our customer base is mainly tourists from the surrounding areas, we have an ever growing following from people all over the country who have made it out to stop by the shop. As time went by it became apparent that taking the store online would have a great benefit to all. Each piece sold online is still handmade and is given the same amount of detail and attention as a piece that was hand made for in-store sale or on the spot for a customer.

When I started creating jewelry in 1969 I had no idea that I was beginning a career, it was a creation forged day by day, and polished slowly over nearly half a century. I feel very lucky indeed.
